The backstory
I built this for
my sister's shop.
During a family vacation, I visited my sister's shop. She was tracking her entire business in a notebook — who owed her money, what she sold, whether she made a profit. Pages of names and numbers. Some torn, some unreadable.
She already had Telegram on her phone. So I built a bot that did everything her notebook did — but faster, in Amharic, and without forgetting anything. She just started tapping buttons.
Now she checks her profit every evening. She knows exactly who owes her what. The notebook is still on the shelf — she hasn't opened it in months.
